About This Site

The annatopia.com weblog archives were created to preserve the weblog authored by Texas-based activist and blogger Anna Brosovic. Brosovic was one of the founding members of the “lefty blogosphere”. She began her personal blog on September 11, 2001 and began writing at Dean Nation in August of 2002. She later wrote for Texas Kaos after permanently shuttering annatopia.com.

She has given us permission to re-create the archive here. We are grateful to her for her contributions and for the inspiration she has provided over the years.

Note: For a short time, authors “just another vet” and “jaywolves” shared editorial duties at annatopia.com.
